GOOD NEWS: i have a real nervous system

FAQ

Clear answers before clients book.

These draft answers preserve the current site's direct, consent-forward posture and should be refined with the practitioner before launch.

How should I prepare for my first appointment?

Arrive with enough time to settle in, complete any remaining intake items, and share what would make the session feel safe and useful. Bring questions, goals, boundaries, and any relevant health updates.

What should I wear, and how does draping work?

The client chooses what level of undress is comfortable. Professional draping is used throughout massage sessions, and clothing can stay on when that feels better or when a modality calls for it.

Can I ask for changes during a session?

Yes. Pressure, positioning, areas of focus, temperature, conversation level, and techniques can be changed or stopped at any time. Consent is part of the session, not a one-time checkbox.

Do I need to tip?

No. NC Integrative Wellness uses no-tip pricing so clients can book without guessing what to add at checkout.

Can accommodations be requested?

Yes. Accessibility, sensory, communication, mobility, and positioning needs should be easy to discuss before the appointment. The website should invite specific requests without making clients justify them.

How do I book?

Use the online booking link for current availability and rates. If the booking link changes, update src/data/business.ts and the launch checklist.
